The Thompson Dress Modern tartan is predominately black, white, grey, and red.  The name Thompson derives from MacTavish.  They started using the Thompson spelling after the Battle of Culloden, in fear of the Jacobite chiefs, when it was not good to be known as a "Mac."

The Zippered Pouch features Thompson Dress Modern tartan and waxed canvas.  The interior includes a small pocket.
